H.P. Lovecraft's Call of Cthulu remains influential in horror and science fiction almost a century after its original publication. This project pairs Lovecraft's words with traditional imagery and typography as illustration.

HP Lovecraft sits in a chair with a monster beside him. He has too many fingers. So does the monster. The title reads The Call of Cthulu by H.P. Lovecraft.
